Day workshop

Death – Which Death?

From the visible to the hidden.

An interactive day workshop on death, life, consciousness and the limits of our knowledge.

Death is one of the great unsolved questions of our lives. We encounter it around us, experience farewells and losses, and form our own ideas of what death means. At the same time, much remains uncertain. Between scientific findings, spiritual perspectives and personal experience, questions open up that invite us to examine familiar points of view.

What do we actually understand by death? Is it solely the end of physical life? What can we know, what do we experience ourselves — and where does the unknown begin?

Science meets spirituality

In this workshop we look at death from different perspectives. Scientific findings are a starting point, as are spiritual approaches and immediate personal experience.

The point is not to convey one particular view or to arrive at supposedly final answers. We want to stay curious, ask questions, and remain open where certainties reach their limits.

Experiencing it, rather than only talking about it

The day is interactive and combines thematic impulses with meditation, self-experience and shared exchange.

Meditative exercises make it possible to settle, to deepen your own perception and to approach the subject on a personal level. In conversation and discussion we meet different views and experiences. That creates room for new thoughts, individual insights and an open dialogue.

Contents and focus

  • Our ideas of death, and how culture and personal experience shape them
  • Scientific findings, and the limits of what we know about death and consciousness
  • Spiritual perspectives on death, transformation and transition
  • Fear, uncertainty, and how our attitude towards death affects our life
  • Meditation and self-experience as a way into our own perception
  • Exchange, discussion and exploring open questions together

A space for questions and new perspectives

This workshop is for people who are ready to turn towards a fundamental subject openly and with curiosity. No prior knowledge or particular spiritual convictions are required.

It is not about having to believe something specific. It is about exploring your own view, encountering other perspectives, and allowing experiences that can go beyond purely intellectual understanding.

New questions may arise. Previous ideas may shift. A different view of life may open up.

“Death – Which Death?” is an invitation to explore what is hidden, to question what is familiar, and to approach life from a new perspective.
